PEC, an international technology supplier, committed to enable the production of green batteries for a Blue Planet, is seeking a Lead Mechanical Design Engineer to join our global Team. Your tasks

You are responsible for the technical and organizational management of our Energy Storage projects. You coordinate a global mechanical team that is responsible for our testing solutions. You are in charge of leading all aspects of new product developments, from conception to release. You own the technical responsibility of your mechanical design team.

• Providing technical direction/guidance to the team i.e. technical advice and support concerning design, material choice, production methods, prototyping,…
• Promoting the use of best practices and relevant tools
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of technical documentation
• Global contacts with customers, suppliers and subcontractors
• Reporting to the Cross Functional Team Manager

The ideal candidate has:

• Master’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Electro-mechanics
• 1-3 years of experience in mechanical design
• Relevant work experience as project manager/ engineer is a plus
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in tight deadlines
